A nostalgic favorite of mine, these Pecan Sandies were made by Wildflour Community Bakery in Ann Arbor. They have whole wheat pastry flour, vanilla, butter, maple syrup and pecans. They are good as a Christmas cookie or anytime.

My first pavlova! A light, gluten-free dessert: basically a giant merengue topped with whipped cream, and in this case, raspberries and blackberries.

This works and it’s very easy. It’s a relatively low-sugar vegan pudding or frosting made with just a few ingredients: avocado, banana, dark chocolate, and vanilla extract.
Dairy and gluten free but you won’t be thinking of that, you’ll be munching this cake made with baked figs, fig butter, and almond meal.
